Protection and Relief

Objective: Improve access to quality protection services for refugees and host communities, with a particular focus on women, children, and youth.

Through its Protection and Relief Programme, ARDD works to strengthen the systems and infrastructure that safeguard the rights and well-being of refugees and host community members—especially women and youth—regardless of nationality, age, or gender. The program ensures that individuals can access essential protection services effectively and equitably.

ARDD provides comprehensive pro bono legal services, covering both prevention and response, alongside direct relief assistance to address basic needs through cash, in-kind, and material support. By advocating for inclusive policies, delivering direct assistance, and collaborating with local and national stakeholders, ARDD empowers refugees and host communities to overcome challenges and rebuild their lives with dignity, resilience, and security.
